Digital Marketing Specialist – Email, LinkedIn & Outreach Campaigns
About Us
TAB Austin is a peer advisory board franchise serving privately held business owners across the Austin area, typically $1M to $20M in revenue. We run monthly peer advisory boards and a recurring Business Owner's Roundtable that serves as our primary channel for meeting new prospective members. We're a small, relationship-driven business looking to bring more consistency and horsepower to our digital outreach.
The Role
We're hiring a hands-on digital media marketer to own and run our outbound and content engine across email, LinkedIn, and direct messaging channels. This is an execution-focused role: you'll be building campaigns, writing copy, managing sequences, and reporting on what's working, not just advising from the sidelines.
What You'll Do
Plan, write, and execute email marketing campaigns to a subscriber list of roughly 3,000 contacts, including nurture sequences and event promotion
Manage LinkedIn content calendar and posting cadence for thought leadership and member acquisition content
Run LinkedIn outreach and connection campaigns targeting Austin-area business owners, including messaging sequences and follow-up cadences
Track and report on campaign performance (open rates, response rates, connection acceptance, meetings booked) and iterate based on results
Coordinate with existing outreach tools and contractors to keep campaigns moving without manual bottlenecks
Maintain and grow segmented contact lists across email and LinkedIn to keep targeting sharp
Support occasional messaging campaigns tied to events (our monthly Business Owner's Roundtable) and content promotion
What We're Looking For
2+ years of hands-on experience running email marketing campaigns (Mailchimp or similar platform)
Proven experience with LinkedIn outreach and organic content strategy, ideally for a B2B or services business
Strong writing skills; you can write copy that sounds human, not templated
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple campaigns at once with minimal oversight
Experience with CRM or outreach tooling (Pipedrive, CloudTalk, or similar) a plus
Familiarity with the Austin small business community a plus, not required
Detail-oriented and comfortable owning performance metrics, not just activity metrics
Nice to Have
Experience marketing for professional services, coaching, or membership-based businesses
Familiarity with peer advisory boards, Vistage, EOS, or similar frameworks
Graphic design or basic video editing skills for content support
What Success Looks Like
Consistent, on-brand LinkedIn presence with growing engagement
Healthy email list hygiene and improving open/response rates over time
A steady flow of qualified prospects moving into our Roundtable and membership pipeline through digital channels
